Pawletter ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Odonata. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information — name, email address, and password when you register.
• Pet Information — name, species, breed, age, and photos of your pet that you choose to upload.
• Daily Logs — activity records such as walks, meals, vet visits, and notes you enter.
• Photos — images you upload for features such as face reading or paw reading.
• Usage Data — app usage patterns, device type, operating system, and crash reports collected automatically.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Service, including generating AI-powered insights and daily letters.
• To personalize your experience and improve our features.
• To send important service-related notifications.
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Features and Third-Party Processors

Pawletter uses third-party AI services (including Anthropic Claude and Replicate) to generate insights, letters, and image-based readings. Data you submit to these features is processed by these providers under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Your data is stored and authenticated using Supabase. Supabase processes data on our behalf and is contractually required to protect your information.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@pawletter.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

5. Children's Privacy

Pawletter is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / EEA Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
