These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pawletter, operated by Odonata ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Pawletter. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately at support@pawletter.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Upload content that is abusive, harmful, obscene, or infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

4. AI-Generated Content

Pawletter uses artificial intelligence to generate daily letters, health insights, and other content based on the information you provide. AI-generated content is for entertainment and informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional veterinary, medical, or health advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health concerns.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Pawletter (including photos and logs). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use that content solely to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell your content to third parties.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of Pawletter may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the respective app store. Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Odonata shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York, NY.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
